Plain-language summary of what ClipBridge does with your information.

What we handle

How it's kept

Who can see it

Your phone and computer share a private, unguessable link. Anyone who has that link can send text to your computer and view the snapshots — so keep it to yourself, and use New link in the extension if it's ever shared by mistake. Don't send passwords or other secrets through ClipBridge.

Asking AI

"Share to Claude / ChatGPT app" hands the snapshot to that app on your phone; what happens next is covered by that app's own privacy policy. The browser extension never sends snapshots to an AI service. Only if you use "Ask Claude" with the optional desktop app is the snapshot and your question sent to Claude — on your own Claude account, under Anthropic's privacy policy.

Extension permissions

The browser extension can read the page you're on and type into it (to type your text), capture the visible tab (only when your phone asks), and read your clipboard (only when you choose "Type my clipboard"). It doesn't collect your browsing history.
